PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently produce a plastic molding of a type corresponding to millimeter waves which has a metallic bright color. SOLUTION: A method for producing the plastic molding is constituted of a process (A) for setting a transparent film 11 or a transparent sheet 11' having a metal film layer 2 formed to make fine metal particle groups 22 exist at prescribed intervals in molds 9 and 9' and an injection process (B) for injecting a plastic material to form a base 5 on the side of the existence of the metal film layer 2 in the molds 9 and 9' in which the film 11 or the sheet 11' is set.
