PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a vehicle from approaching an adjacent vehicle abnormally by avoiding such an occurrence that the two vehicles run side by side on a curved road for a long time. SOLUTION: Judgement whether the vehicle concerned and its adjacent one will run side by side on a curved road existing ahead is passed on the basis of the distance to the curved road ahead, the distance from the adjacent vehicle and their relative speed, and vehicle speed concerned, and if it is judged as running side by side and the relative speed is equal to or below the first threshold, the running side by side on the curved road ahead is prohibited.
