A weather data transmission (V, AD) and display system has sensors (S1-5) with transmitters (DS) connected to the display (SR, TV) receivers (DE) by a serial data distribution network (V) with multiplexer switch (MS) selecting the input (E1-3) for distribution to the outputs (A1-4). Independent claims are included for transmitters and receivers used by the system.
