<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a white polyester film for heat-shrinkable packaging, which is a film useful for a white label of a PET bottle, has especially high opacifying properties and excellent protection of contents and handleability. <P>SOLUTION: The white polyester film for heat-shrinkable packaging comprises a polyester composition containing 20-40 wt.% of white pigment, has 1,400-1,800 kg/m<SP>3</SP>apparent density, ≥0.70 optical density and ≥20% shrinkage percentage in treatment in warm water at 80°C for 10 seconds in the main shrinkage direction and ≤10% in the direction perpendicular to the main shrinkage direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
