PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake device easy in disassembling and assembling, by generating stable braking force, by using a hand brake device. SOLUTION: An upper revolving body 7 is revolvably mounted on a lower traveling body 2 via a revolving device 15. In this case, an inner ring 16 of the revolving device 15 is fixed to the lower traveling body 2, and an outer ring 17 is fixed to the upper revolving body 7. The hand brake device 21 having left-right brake bands 22 and 23 is arranged on the outer peripheral side of the outer ring 17. In its operation, the braking force is added by fastening the outer ring 17 by pulling the bands 22 and 23 by cylinders 30 and 31. Thus, revolving operation in both directions can be surely regulated by using the brake bands 22 and 23 without requiring high part accuracy.
