<p>A wireless receiving apparatus wherein the reception quality can be prevented from being degraded even under a weak electric field. There are included an antenna selecting part (3) for selecting one of antennas (2a-2d) for receiving analog television broadcasts; a receiving part (4) for reproducing a composite video signal (Cvd) and a composite sync signal (Csync) from a received signal (Sin) from the selected antenna; a consecutiveness determining part (6) for generating a correction control signal (CMP) indicative of a correction instruction when determining that the composite sync signal (Csync) is not consecutively reproduced at any high temporal frequency and for generating a correction control signal (CMP) indicative of no correction instruction when determining that the composite sync signal (Csync) is consecutively reproduced at a high frequency; a level detecting part (5) for detecting the levels of the composite video signals (Cvd) reproduced by the receiving part (4) when the antennas (2a-2d) are individually selected by the antenna selecting part (3) at the respective particular timings and for providing their respective level detection signals (DLV(i)); a correcting part (8) for correcting, during occurrence of the correction control signal (CMP) indicative of a correction instruction, the level detection signals (DLV(i)) to generate a corrected detection signal (DLVC(i)) from which the instability has been removed; and an antenna switching control part (8) for comparing the corrected detection signals (DLVC(i)) to cause the antenna selecting part (3) to select an antenna corresponding to the largest corrected detection signal.</p> |
