PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base cup which prevents the ingress of light from the bottom of a container. SOLUTION: The base cup comprises a peripheral wall (2a) which has an opening fitted into the bottom of the container, and a bottom wall (2b) which connects to the peripheral wall (2a) and whose back face is grounded to allow the container and the peripheral wall (2a) stand by themselves. The bottom wall (2b) is provided with at least one through-hole (4), which penetrates the bottom wall (2b) from its inside to the back side to form an opening. At least either of the bottom wall (2b) and the peripheral wall (2a) is provided with a shutter (5), which is connected to be free to incline via a hinge (6) and covers the through-hole (4) via a gap.
