PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid-operated fuel injection valve, forming an annular welding part satisfying the strength and the liquid tightness between a valve seat member and a magnetic cylinder by comparatively small heat input. SOLUTION: This solenoid-operated fuel injection valve includes: a valve housing 2 having the valve seat member 3 and the magnetic cylinder 4 coupled to the rear end part of the valve seat member 3 through an annular welding part 53. An abutting part 50 formed by abutting the axial opposite surfaces 3a, 4a of the valve seat member 3 and the magnetic cylinder on each other is provided between the member 3 and the cylinder 4, a pair of annular grooves 51, 52 adjacent to both sides of the abutting part 50 are formed in the outer peripheral surfaces 3c, 4b of the valve seat member 3 and the magnetic cylinder 4, and the annular welding part 53 is formed on the outer periphery of the abutting part 50 between the annular grooves 51, 52.
