The circuit breaker includes a vacuum chamber (10) with fixed and mobile contacts located in a dielectric medium such as air. The contacts are closed by two pins before dielectric distance of a movable isolating switch is not very low in order to allow passage of electric current via a terminal (8). The chamber is integrated at the level of mobile and fixed contacts (12,13) of the isolating switch.
