An authorized person carries an identification card (Personlich identificationskarte). The card is in radio communication (drahtloser Datenaustausch) with a read-write module (Figur 3) installed in the entrance to the building. An interface (Schnittstelle) connects the read-write module to a databank (Figur 4). There is a radio link between the identification card and e.g. a laptop computer (Laptop) kept in the office. The laptop includes radio technology and a ''Wake-up'' switch (Wake-up Schaltung). The laptop has a radio link to the read-write module.
