PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce bending correction work and eliminate waste of workpieces so as to improve bending efficiency, by attaining such a target angle as to improve bending accuracy by using correct stroke-amounts of a bend beam, which are obtained by preventing positional deviation of a workpiece and by accurately detecting deflection of a mechanical system and elastic deformation of the workpiece based on true tensile strength. SOLUTION: Plate pressing force F<SB>1</SB>and bending reaction force F<SB>2</SB>are calculated based on product information J and true tensile strengthσ<SB>1</SB>detected in a blanking step.
