PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electret shutter that is actually mountable in a camera or the like, is small and has a simple structure, and also to provide an imaging module. SOLUTION: An electret shutter unit 10 includes: an almost semicircular stator 11 having a specific aperture 13 in it and a plurality of drive electrodes 12 on the surface of its outer peripheral part; and a moving element 15 attached to the center of the stator 11 so as to be rotatable. The moving element 15 is disposed in a plane opposite the drive electrodes 12 of the stator 11 such that a distance between them is kept predetermined. Electrets, or permanently polarized dielectrics, are fixed to the moving element 15 and on the side of the stator 11.
