PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain increase in axial length of a power transmission device. SOLUTION: This power transmission device transmits power between an outer annular body (a pulley 2) and an inner annular body (a cylindrical shaft 3) concentrically disposed. A coiled spring 6 is interposed between both inner and outer annular bodies 2, 3, and annular parts 2b, 3a provided in the respective annular bodies 2, 3 on both sides in the axial direction of the coiled spring 6 are provided with partial peripheral grooves 7A, 7B formed to be gradually increased in axial depth corresponding to the shapes of the spiral end parts 6a, 6b of the coiled spring 6.
