PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an edge frame framable coping with the kind and number of laying Tatami mats rapidly and easily. SOLUTION: Strip-like straight members are prepared with a wall thickness dimension of about 10-30 mm, a width dimension of about 3-5 cm and a length dimension of about 70-190 cm. One of the straight members is provided with a guide groove bored at the center of a bottom face part in the length direction over the whole length or at both ends or in a fixed length range of one end. The other straight member is provided with a fitting member projected orthogonally from one end and having a length dimension of about 3-20 cm to be engagedly fixed to the guide groove, while the other end is provided with a guide groove of fixed length bored at the center of the bottom face part in the length direction from the edge. A connecting member fitted into the guide groove is separately prepared, and the straight members and the connecting member are suitably combined for use. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
