PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collapsable container in which the operation of folding sidewalls in upright positions is facilitated without requiring a troublesome operation, such as re-engaging sidewalls together with hands, by providing unlocking operation members for two sidewalls folded later among four sidewalls. SOLUTION: The collapsable container includes a bottom wall 1, the pair of short sidewalls 2, the pair of long sidewalls 3, locking mechanisms (26 and 45a) for locking the adjacent short and long sidewalls 2 and 3 so as to be put in upright positions upon their engagement. The collapsible container is designed such that the short sidewalls 2 are first folded over the bottom wall 1 and then the long sidewalls 3 are folded over them. Turnable operating members 5 for releasing the sidewalls from the state of being locked by the locking mechanism are attached to the external faces of the long sidewalls 3. The short sidewalls 2 are naturally fall over inside due to the operation of turning the operation members 5.
