COATED PRODUCTS, PRINTED MATTER, AND COATINGS AND INKS USED THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide coated products and printed matters that has excellent surface transparency and can exhibit excellent downflop characteristics and coatings and inks used therefor.

SOLUTION: The coated product provided herein is produced by applying a coating to a glossy material provided with a metal surface layer containing a metallic pigment and a resin, wherein the above coating is blended with 0.1 to 70 wt.% titanium dioxide with a primary particle size between 1 and 180 nm, the above titanium dioxide is dispersed in a vehicle to form secondary particles, and 80% or more of the particle sizes of the secondary particles are included within a particle distribution ranging from 0.03 to 1.50μm.
