PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving direction judging system judging the moving direction of a radio tag by utilizing a wave strength value detected with radio tag readers which received a radio wave emitted by the radio tag. SOLUTION: In the moving direction judging system, the radio tag 10 set with an ID emits a radio wave. The radio tag reader 20a and the radio tag reader 20b receives the radio wave from the radio tag 10. The receiver 31 of a server device 30 receives the ID contained in the radio wave and the wave strength value from the radio tag reader 20a and the radio tag reader 20b, classifies the information received with each radio tag reader for each ID, and records the wave strength value in a memory 32. When it detects no reception of the ID information during receiving for a specific time interval, it reads the wave strength value of the ID out of the memory 32, and judges the moving direction of the radio tag 10 between the radio tag reader 20a and the radio tag reader 20b according to the time variation history of the wave strength value.
