PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink supply device which realizes the stable supply of ink by preventing the production of bubbles and deterioration in the ink, and which prevents wasteful ink consumption and increase in size of the device. SOLUTION: Liquid level sensors S1-S3 are provided in a plurality of sub-tanks 5 each storing an ink to be supplied to a plurality of inkjet heads 2. A supply part 7 for supplying the ink to the sub-tanks 5 from a main tank 6 for storing the ink to be supplied to the sub-tanks, depending on the result of detection by the liquid level sensors S1-S3 is provided. When the plurality of the sub-tanks 5 with the quantity of the ink reduced to a level smaller than a predetermined level are detected by the liquid level sensors S1-S3, a plural number, which is not larger than a specified number, of the sub-tanks 5 with the reduced quantity of the ink are simultaneously filled with the ink through the supply part 7 from the main tank 6.
