摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly control a color tone using an IRGB densitometer by easily and rapidly correcting a positional deviation between a plate making image and a real machine image with regard to a method for controlling a pattern color tone of a printing machine and a device using this method. <P>SOLUTION: In this method, a plate making pattern position is transferred in order to correct a positional deviation between a plate making pattern position obtained from plate making data and an actual pattern position acquired from actual printing results. Next, a target color mixture halftone density per ink supply unit width when a printing pattern is divided by the ink supply unit width of ink supply deices 6 and 7, is set, an actual color mixture halftone density per ink supply unit width of a full-dress printing sheet obtained by printing, is measured using the IRGB densitometer 1, and these color mixture halftone densities are converted to their respective halftone dot area ratios and further, are converted to monochromatic halftone densities. After that, a solid density deviation corresponding to the deviation between the target monochromatic halftone density and the actual monochromatic halftone density, is sought using the Yule Nielsen formula or the like and an ink supply per ink supply unit width is regulated in accordance with a solid density deviation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
