<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing lightweight cellular concrete having excellent carbonation resistance by improving the crystallinity of tobermorite to define control indicators for raw material formulation to enhance the carbonation resistance of the lightweight cellular concrete. <P>SOLUTION: The lightweight cellular concrete having excellent carbonation resistance is produced by controlling the weight of CaO, SiO<SB>2</SB>and silica rock pulverized to have≤20μm particle size so that (C/S)c=(CaO/56 in quick lime+CaO/56 in cement)/(SiO<SB>2</SB>in silica rock×the weight ratio of silica having≤20μm particle size/60+SiO<SB>2</SB>/60 in cement) is 0.65-0.75 based on the quantity of the quick lime, the cement and the silica rock having≤20μm particle size to increase the crystallinity of the tobermorite. The produced lightweight cellular concrete has excellent crack resistance and is capable of prolonging the durable period of buildings, reducing the repairing and the modification cost and decreasing industrial waste. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
