PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a molded article with a good appearance by using an appropriate masking film in manufacturing a solid molded article with a curable film formed on the surface by a post cure process. SOLUTION: After applying an ultraviolet ray curable resin paint to the surface of one side of a synthetic resin substrate sheet, laminating a film made from a polybutylene terephthalate type resin as a mold releasing film on the coated film, molding it to form a solid formed article shape, then curing the coated film by irradiating the ultraviolet ray, finally the releasable film is removed.
