摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate evil such as friction with a mold at the time of takeout of an optical disk after mold opening in a mold assembly for molding the optical disk equipped with an outer peripheral ring for molding an outer peripheral surface. SOLUTION: A fixed mold and a movable mold are clamped to form a product cavity 3 for forming the optical disk (d) between the mold bodies of both molds. The product cavity 3 is filled with a thermoplastic molding material. The movable mold is equipped with an outer peripheral ring 52 for molding the outer peripheral surface of the optical disk (d) and a groove-like annular recessed part 59 for allowing the molding material to escape is provided to the inner peripheral surface of the outer peripheral ring 52 facing to the product cavity 3. The cross section of the groove-like annular recessed part 59 is formed into an arcuate part 59a and the end part of the arcuate part 59a is formed into an inclined part 59b along the inclination of the arcuate part 59a. In ejecting the optical disk (d) after mold opening, an undercut part or the like is eliminated because the end of the arcuate part 59a is inclined and the optical disk (d) can be well ejected.
