<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery, such as a laminated battery, that exhibits satisfactory battery characteristics by imparting resistance to heat. <P>SOLUTION: The battery comprises an electrode body formed, by stacking a positive electrode plate, a negative electrode plate and a separator, the electrode body being housed and sealed in an outer package. An non-oriented polyolefin material is used inside the battery. This battery is a laminated battery, wherein tabs are connected to the positive and negative electrodes of the electrode body, respectively; and the periphery of the laminated outer package is sealed, while the tabs are exposed to the outside of the outer package. The battery further comprises a protective tape, adhering corresponding to each tab and an electrode plate area connected thereto, and a tab resin provided to cover the tabs in the sealed portion; and at least either of the protective tape or the tab resin can be formed of an non-oriented polyolefin resin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
