PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection molding machine capable of performing molding reduced in the occurrence of a short shot or the irregularity of a filling degree in small injection amount molding by reducing the back flow amount of a molten resin at the start time of injection. SOLUTION: A screw chip 24 has a small diameter part 24a for forming an annular molten resin passage 16 with respect to the inner diameter surface of a check ring 15 and the large diameter part 24b formed on the leading end side of the screw chip of the small diameter part 24a. The large diameter part 24b has an outer shape surface for forming the annular molten resin passage 20 between a heating barrel 10 and the inner diameter surface of a barrel head 11 constituting a part of the heating barrel 10 and a plurality of groove-like molten resin passages 21 extending in an oblique radial direction are provided between the large and small diameter parts 24b and 24a.
