An utility model concerns the production of hunting gunpowder. A method for graphitization of the hunting gunpowder includes the treatment of gunpowder with graphite in the presence of organic solvent in the rotary drum with subsequent separation of excess graphite. For providing a high quality, thegraphitization of the gunpowder is performed in the presence of auxiliary inert bodies, at that ratio of inert bodies and gunpowder is between 1:2 and 2:1 by weight, and the ratio of sizes of inert bodies and particles of gunpowder is between 2:1 and 10:1.
