FIELD: pneumatic equipment used as attachment to linear faucets positioned on main pipelines for their operative closing in case their air tightness is disturbed. ^ SUBSTANCE: automatic device for emergency closing of faucet comprises hermetically sealed chamber connected with pipeline and pneumatic cylinders equipped with piston and stem. Automatic apparatus is furnished with throttle having gauged opening and compensating pneumatic cylinder. Second end of stem is located within compensating pneumatic cylinder freely communicating with pipeline. Hermetically sealed chamber is communicating with pipeline through throttle having gauge opening. ^ EFFECT: enhanced reliability in operation of automatic emergency closing of faucet. ^ 1 dwg
