PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare an optical disk in which the time when data are recorded in the optical disk and contents of recorded data are visible. SOLUTION: In a configuration where laser light is applied to a data recording surface of an optical disk 17, thereby data is recorded into the disk 17 and visible characters are formed on the disk, the time when the data are recorded in the disk 17 and contents of the recorded data are indicated by the visible characters.
