摘要 The strategy of this invention is to harvest the potential power of the muscles. This may be achieved either by induced nerve stimulation with nerve electrodes to cause the muscles to contract or, by harvesting the power from normal body movements. The induced electrical stimulations on the neuron of a muscle cause contractions. This contraction activates the kinetic device. The energy derived from the mechanical conversions of the muscle(s) is stored in a Mainspring as described later. This stored energy is then released via a mechanical geared arrangement to drive an electrical generator/alternator. Electric circuitry controls and further refines the output from the generator/alternator to make it suitable for ancillary device (s) or as required. The alternator will give an alternating current that may be mono-phasic, two-phase, three phase or poly-phasic. The Kinetic device (or Actuator) as detailed in Fig.1, is shown with the muscles contracting and force applied to the muscle thereby operating the device. The contraction forces by means as described herein, activates a ratchet wheel in which in turns winds up the mainspring. A hermetically sealed, biocompatible casing contains the generator; the rectification board, microcontroller and any other associated electronic circuitry. Going into or out of the casing are the biocompatible tube(s) housing the pulling cable (s) or by hydraulic means from the kinetic device, the leads of the muscle's neuron stimulator, power supply output leads and any other leads or mechanisms that may exist (not Shown). Depending upon the power requirements of ancillary device attached to this power generator, the storage devices may be housed inside the case of the generator or housed in another sealed case within the body.
