<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalytic filter medium which is hardly clogged by intruding dust, the catalyst component of which is hardly covered/fouled with the dust and which can keep a catalytic effect over a long period of time and is suitable for forming a pouched filter bag. <P>SOLUTION: A bag filter medium being the catalytic filter medium for treating combustion exhaust gas etc. has an A layer composed of a polytetrafluoroethylene fiber having <11 μm average diameter and minute branches, a B layer which is positioned on the downstream side of the A layer and contains a catalytic fiber and a C layer which is positioned on the downstream side of the B layer and has abrasion resistance.
