PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a black matrix that improves contrast of a microlens array sheet and its forming method, and also to provide a black matrix that has no adverse effect on the luminance and the angle of view of the microlens array sheet as well as providing its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The invention refers to the microlens array sheet having a black matrix and the method of manufacturing the same, including stages of: (a) defining the region of the opening which transmits the light converged on a negative type photoreceptive resin layer, by being irradiated with a parallel light beam and by converging the parallel light beam after successively laminating a microlens array layer, a transparent support substrate or a film layer, and the negative type photoreceptive resin layer, and; (b) removing the remaining part excluding a light emitting port region formed on the negative type photoreceptive resin layer and forming the black matrix layer in the region where the remaining part is removed.
