PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copper alloy having excellent bending resistance and suitable for an electrically conductive material in a flexible substrate. SOLUTION: In the copper alloy, the integrated intensity ratio I ä200}/Iä111} obtained by X-ray diffraction regarding a rolling face is≤1.5. The copper alloy is desirably made into foil having a thickness of≤16μm. As its concrete composition, a composition comprising, by mass, 0.045 to 0.095% Fe, 0.010 to 0.030% P, the elements other than Fe, P and Cu by <1% in total, and the balance Cu, and a composition comprising 0.5 to 3.0% Ni, 0.5 to 2.0% Sn, 0.03 to 0.10% P, the elements other than Ni, Sn, P and Cu by <1% in total, and the balance Cu can be given.
