<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector type vehicular head lamp capable of sufficiently ensuring brightness of a light distribution pattern formed by irradiation light while a backward and forward length of a lighting device unit is shortened to attain compactness. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular head lamp comprises a second reflector 21 for reflecting the light emitted forwardly and obliquely upward from a light emitting portion 10a of a light source bulb 10 toward a forward area in a bulb insertion direction and a third reflector 23 for reflecting the reflected light from the second reflector 21 toward a projection lens 8, thereby solving lack of brightness of the light distribution pattern due to lack of quantity of light entering to the forward area in the bulb insertion direction to provide a bright light distribution pattern suitable for improvement of visibility. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
