PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving carriage capable of changing a height over the ground of its upper body easily and assuring excellent easiness in work where the height over the ground is changed frequently. SOLUTION: The moving carriage 1 is equipped with the upper body 2 to admit the riding of an operator to perform the work, a lower body 3 capable of running by driving wheels, and an elevating and sinking part 5 to support the upper body with the possibility of rising and falling relative to the lower body. The elevating and sinking part of the moving carriage is equipped with a first arm 51 whose one end is pivoted rotatably on the lower body and the other end is supported slidably in a sliding groove 57a formed in the upper body and also rotatably and a second arm 52 whose one end is pivoted rotatably on the upper body, a middle part is pivoted rotatably on the first arm at its middle part, and the other end is engaged with one of a plurality of engaging members 55 provided on the lower body.
