<p>In closures it is known to use non-laminar self-closing flexible valves. However, these valves are difficult to handle due to their relative suppleness. To overcome this problem a device is used to retain the valve and increase the rigidity of the flange of the valve. The valve and retaining device combination may then be fitted to closures. <IMAGE></p>
