<p>The seal has circular sealing units (7, 8) to prevent penetration of humidity into a contact surface area (6). An area between the sealing units is made up of a material e.g. elastomer material, plastic material or composite material, which has an excellent corrosion resistance for construction units in the contact surface area. A wide circular border area has an assembly unit to attach the seal to an internal combustion engine.</p> |
