<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain an image of good quality according to an output resolution when image reproducing processing of RAW data is performed. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus processes the RAW data which needs pixel interpolation processing for interpolating color information of one pixel using the color information of a surrounding pixel, and includes a pixel interpolating part for performing the pixel interpolation processing, a correction processor for performing correction processing using image processing to image data in which the pixel interpolation is performed, a resizing processor for performing resizing processing for enlarging or reducing the image data in which the pixel interpolation is performed, and an enlarging/contracting judge for judging whether the resizing processing intended to be performed by the resizing processor is the enlarging processing or contracting processing of the image.
