PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing tub for washing a dead body for easily moving the dead body and smoothly and stably performing the movement thereof. SOLUTION: The washing tub is provided with a table 2 for placing and holding the dead body to be washed thereon; a table support board 3 slidably supporting the table 2; a hot water storage tank 4 storing hot water for use in the washing; a pedestal 5 arranged beneath the hot water storage tank 4; a table support board supporting part 6 supporting the table support board 3; and an elevating/lowering device 7 elevating/lowering the hot water storage tank 4. While the hot water storage tank 4 is elevated by the elevating/lowering device 7, the table 2 is moved horizontally in a state where the table is supported by the table support board 3 and the upper surface of a flange 41 being the upper edge of the hot water storage tank 4.
