PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work measuring apparatus having a wide measurable range capable of adaptation even in the case that various works having different diameter sizes and exceeding the measurable range of a single-range measuring device are supplied in a random manner. SOLUTION: The work measuring apparatus 3 for measuring the diameters of works comprises both a first measuring device 3A and a second measuring device 3B each having a gauge head 33 to be in contact with a work W in such a way as to move forward and backward. The measuring devices 3A and 3B are opposed to each other in such a way that the gauge heads 33 of the measuring devices 3A and 3B may move along the same virtual straight line L.
