PURPOSE: A filter net protector for a fuel tank is provided to prevent the filter net from being damaged in vibrating a fuel pump by inserting the protector between the lower part of the filter net and a lower plate of the fuel tank. CONSTITUTION: A synthetic resin filter housing(32) is formed in the lower part of a fuel pump(22), and a filter net(34) is connected to the lower part of the filter housing for filtering. A protector(40) is formed in the lower part of the filter net to prevent the lower part of the filter net from being contacted to a lower plate(21) of a fuel tank(20). The end of the protector is integrally formed in the lower part of the filter housing with surrounding the filter net, and folded to grip the part of the filter net. Damage of the filter net is prevented with integrally forming the protector between the lower part of the filter net and the lower plate of the fuel tank.
