PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent failure such as paper jamming (jam) from occurring when receiving a message through facsimile in a state where an image forming apparatus is left as it is under high-temperature and high-humidity environment, for example, in a state where air-conditioning equipment is turned off at night. SOLUTION: When receiving a message through the facsimile, image forming is performed under control that fixing temperature is lowered to restrain a jamming occurring rate.
