PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe body with a water purifying function constituted so as to obtain a high water purifying capacity though small-sized and inexpensive. SOLUTION: A large number of small-sized magnets 3 are spirally arranged on the outer periphery 2b of the pipe body 2 in a direction oblique with respect to the flowing direction of tap water Wa flowing through the inside 2a of the pipe body 2. The oblique direction of the magnets 3 is set along a spiral direction of a vortex flow formed when the tap water Wa flows through the inside 2a of the pipe body 2 while whirling. By this constitution, the magnetic energy due to the magnets 3 efficiently act on the tap water Wa flowing through the inside 2a of the pipe body 2 and the concentration of residual chlorine can be effectively lowered even by the small magnets 3.
