PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a therapeutic agent and a diagnostic agent for peripheral circulatory disorders, coronary circulatory disorders, and cerebral circulatory disorders all associated with an endogeneous Na+pump inhibitor. SOLUTION: The therapeutic agent and the diagnostic agent contain each a phenoxyaniline derivative, a phenoxypyridine derivative, or a pharmaceutically acceptable acid addition salt thereof useful as a specific NCX1 inhibitor which enables the therapy and diagnosis of e.g., peripheral circulatory disorders, coronary circulartory disorders (e.g., angina pectoris), and cerebral circulatory disorders associated with an increase in an intracellular Ca2+concentration through the Na+/Ca2+exchanger 1 (NCX1) of a blood vessel smooth muscle, caused by an abnormal increase in an endogeneous Na+pump inhibitor.
