PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing system for restraining dislocation between a position bound by a staple on a sheet bundle and a folding line position of its sheet bundle made by folding processing. SOLUTION: This sheet processing system has a stapler for binding the center of a plurality of stacked sheets by the staple, a sheet folder for performing folding processing for doubly folding the sheet bundle after being bound by the stapler, a sheet number recognizing part for recognizing the number of sheets for constituting the sheet bundle, a sheet moving mechanism for moving the sheet bundle after being bound by the stapler to a position for folding down the sheet bundle center by the sheet folder, and a moving distance determining table for making the number of sheets for constituting the sheet bundle correspond to a moving distance of the sheet bundle by the sheet moving mechanism; and has a sheet movement control part for moving the sheet bundle by the moving distance corresponding to the number of sheets for constituting this sheet bundle determined by the moving distance determining table by the sheet moving mechanism.
