<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated piezo-electric element whose reliability of insulating structure and excellent piezo-electric performance are compatible. <P>SOLUTION: The laminated piezo-electric element has a ceramic laminated body 10 where a piezo-electric layer 11 and inside electrodes 21, 22 are laminated alternately and where a first side electrode 31 and a second side electrode 32 are located on the sides 101, 102 of the ceramic laminated body 10. Recess channels 41(42), where the ends of the inside electrodes 21(22) are exposed in bottoms 410(420), are located on the sides 101(102) with the side electrodes 31(32) located. Insulating filler materials 5 having electric insulation are filled into the recess channel 41(42) covering the ends of the inside electrodes 21(22). The insulating filler materials 5 have values(coefficient of linear expansion×elastic modulus) of 100 Pa/°C to 15,000 Pa/°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
