<p>The speech valve casing (1) includes a groove (4) accommodating snap-in filter inserts (12), or flanges (9) of tracheal cannulae. A rectangular valve membrane (2) is provided. It is injection-molded onto the valve casing by its hinge (6). The valve membrane has precisely-determined length (13). The valve membrane is rectangular with a seat-contacting surface (13) at least 1 mm larger than the cannula tube inner diameter. The valve is used with an HME filter (10) (heat/moisture exchange filter) and tracheostoma plaster. A rigid valve stop plate with a sealing edge (3) is adhered into the valve casing. A tab (15) is injection-molded onto the valve casing. This facilitates dismantling of the valve from the respective clip-in section (9 or 10).</p> |
