PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio node device in which mutual radio nodes autonomously decide a node to be the route node of a tree, thereby enabling autonomously constructing a tree type multi-hop radio system using the route node as a route, and to provide a multi-hop radio system. SOLUTION: To configure the multi-hop radio system, the system is provided with a storage means 101 for storing information for specifying the route radio node device positioned on the top of the multi-hop radio system to which its own device is connected, and status information including the number of hops originating from the route radio node device; a collecting means 103 for collecting status information to be transmitted from surrounding radio node devices; and a selecting means 104 for selecting the radio node device of a higher-order connection destination, on the basis of the information for specifying the route radio node device and contained in the collected status information and the number of hops.
