In the present invention, there is disclosed a metered dose inhaler comprising a can, a crimped cap covering the mouth of the can, and a drug metering valve situated in the cap. A part or all of the inhaler internal surfaces are coated with a mixture of fluorocarbon polymers, optionally in combination with one or more non-fluorocarbon polymers. The inhaler contains a drug formulation comprising fluticasone propionate, or a physiologically acceptable salt thereof, and a fluorocarbon propellant, optionally in combination with one or more other pharmacologically active agents or one or more excipients. |
