A method for managing favorite audio using preset of an audio system is provided to improve user convenience by storing/reproducing audio recorded on plural disks according to user preference, genre, singer, and etc. A method for managing favorite audio using preset of an audio system comprises the steps of: checking whether a mark command is input for a predetermined time(211); checking whether a predetermined preset command is input when the mark command is input(223); checking whether the preset command is input for the predetermined time when the preset command is input(227); and reproducing audio stored in a preset mark storage area when specific audio is input for the predetermined time(237).
