A method for the purification of diesel fuel from sulphur-containing compounds, which method includes mixing the diesel fuel with triethylamine, separation of the obtained mixture with use of polymer membranes by a method of pervaporation with formation of two technological streams û purified diesel fuel and mixture of triethylamine with withdrawn sulphur-containing compounds, at that, the first stream is used as marketable product, and the second one is mixed with dimethylsulfoxide and in the same way the obtained mixture is separated to a complete withdrawal of triethylamine, the obtained remainder in the form of dimethylsulfoxide and sulphur compounds is mixed with water, and reagents and withdrawn sulphur-containing products are separated, at that selected triethylamine, dimethylsulfoxide and water are delivered for the repeated use in the closed circuit.
