PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a management device, an apparatus control system and an apparatus managing method, by which a plurality of users can effectively utilize an apparatus to be controlled having a plurality of functions. SOLUTION: In the management device and the apparatus control system, each of monitors A, B has a function-based apparatus information table 50 for storing apparatus information classified in each function, each of apparatuses A to C has an apparatus function information table 60 for storing function utilization information and each of the monitors A, B refers to the function-based apparatus information table 50 and displays the functions of the apparatus and an apparatus provided with a selected function by an UI screen. In order to acquire use right, a function is selected from the UI screen of the monitor A or B, and when a using request for the function of the apparatus is outputted from the monitor A or B, the apparatus determines whether the apparatus can be used or not on the basis of the function utilization information stored in the apparatus function information table 60 and answers the determination result to the monitor A or B. The monitor A or B from which the use right setting request of the function is outputted acquires the use right by receiving an answer that the function can be used, and only the monitor acquiring the use right can use the function.
